Is there a limit to how many URLPromote pages I can have?

There is no limit to how many URLPromote pages you can have. However we encourage you to create them with enough of a delay between each one, so that other people's urls are added between yours. Ideally you need 3 other users to add their urls before you should add your next one. This enables you to benefit from their promotional efforts. If you add for example 4 of your own urls all in a row. They will be successfully added to the system, but you would have to promote each of the 4 generated pages individually to gain any benefit from them. 

It's much more beneficial to leverage the promotional efforts of others to help propel your url's promotion further. You might just be blessed with one of the other users being a traffic pro, who adds their link to a high traffic page, or emails it to a large high response email list, sending your url exposure into the stratosphere.

What is the traffic potential of my URLPromote page?

The traffic generation potential of an URLPromote page is truly limitless. To help you understand its potential consider the following...

Every new user that joins the system on Your page, Person-2's and Person-3's pages will have their own page generated with Your URL permanently on their page. Every new user that adds their URL to the system, including those on Person-4's page, will need to click your URL in the process of adding their own URL. 

This means the traffic generating potential is truly limitless. The more people you add to your URLPromote page, the more branches open up to grow your traffic, with each of those branches adding 4 generations deep of traffic flowing to Your website URL.

You will also benefit from the promotional efforts of everyone added to your URLPromote page for 4 generations deep! Should Person-2 or Person-3 or any other person added to your page (or any of their pages) happen to heavily promote their page and perhaps add several thousand users, you will benefit directly from their efforts. Such is the power of the URLPromote traffic sharing system.

Can I change my website address on URLPromote after I have submitted it?

No. The url you originally submitted was hard encoded into Level 1 of your own page and hard encoded into Level 2 of each of the successive generations of pages that were generated from your page. To change your url for future generations of pages, simply add your new url and promote the new personalized link that is generated.

If for any reason you require your link to be removed from our system, we do have a blocking feature where we can block your link from being displayed. If you urgently need your url added to the block list please contact us.

What types of links are accepted? What not to post?

We believe in freedom of speech and therefore freedom of expression. However due to the fact that we are a publicly available site, with users from all age ranges, we require a level of decorum and social responsibility. The following lists (not exhaustive and open to addition at any time) will give you a fair idea of the types of website urls that are and are not acceptable for display on URLPromote 

We reserve the right to remove content from the URLPromote system at any time for any reason. We also provide a reporting feature so that should you find content on our system that you believe is unacceptable, you can report it for our team to review. Should it be deemed that the content is in breech of our terms and conditions we will remove it.

I've noticed some objectionable content. How do I report it?

All user submitted content on URLPromote can be reported to our moderators by clicking on the report button next to each URL. We also include the site title and description of the users website who created the page in our "This URLPromote page is brought to you by"  section at the bottom of each page. This also includes a report button for your use if you see anything objectionable. 

Once content is reported, we will review it and if its deemed objectionable according to our list of what not to post or if it's breeching our terms and conditions, it will be removed. We reserved the right to remove any content for any reason at any time.

We also incorporate blocking technology to block unwanted URL's from appearing on URLPromote pages. If you feel your URL has been blocked or removed unfairly, please contact us.

URL Blacklisted: See FAQ - What does this mean?

This means your URL has been blacklisted for one of several reasons. We use Google's Safe Browsing data to check your submitted URL to see if its been blacklisted. If it has, we return the error "URL Blacklisted: See FAQ" immediately under the url field in our form.

If this is the case for you, you'll need to contact Google to discuss having your url removed from their blacklist, to be able to successfully add it to URLPromote.
